Bicycle Safety

Cycling Education
Wear a Helmet
Wear a properly fitted helmet.
Ride the Same Direction as Traffic
Drivers don't look for fast moving bikes riding against the flow. This includes riding on sidewalks against traffic. Slow down, take extra caution, make eye contact with drivers at intersections.
Free Helmet Fitting
The MR&CC often has free helmets for children. We have a booth at RTA where we fit children with free helmets.
