River Trails and Ales Fest
August 6–9, 2026 • Marietta, Ohio The Rivers, Trails and Ales Festival (aka RTA Fest) is a grass-roots outdoor enthusiast festival located in the Appalachian foothills of Southeast Ohio. Highlighting Marietta’s easily-accessible outdoor activities and charming downtown commercial district together in one event-filled package, the RTA Festival is designed to appeal to visitors and locals alike.
The RTA Fest is a celebration of our gorgeous natural assets and the community we get to call home. As the first settlement of the Northwest Territory, Marietta is known as the Pioneer City and our festival is nothing short of pioneered—through the dedicated efforts of local businesses, nonprofits, city officials, and volunteers alike, our city welcomes 2,000+ festival-goers to experience why Marietta, Ohio is continually ranked as a Best Small Town in America. Our community cares and this festival is only a success because of the hard work of many.
Parkersburg Paddlefest
Parkersburg Paddlefest is on for September TBD . The Point - Parkersburg, WVPaddlefest lives on! We’re thrilled to share that Wild River Kayak Co. will be taking on the managing and planning for Paddlefest, ensuring this cherished event continues to grace our waters. The Greater Parkersburg CVB will be assisting Wild River this year and supporting the event as a sponsor.
Pelotonia; An idea that inspired a community to come together and raise money to make cancer research go faster.
Opening Ceremony is on July 31 and Ride Weekend will be held from August 1-2. Most of the club has chosen to ride the 46 mile event. Ideal for intermediate Riders with some training under their belt, this point-to-point route begins in Downtown Columbus and finishes in New Albany, featuring more hills for Riders ready to put their training to the test.
